With an active lifestyle, smoothies are often my go-to for a quick breakfast or post-workout pick me up. Looking to consistently nourish my body to balance my endocrine and metabolic systems, I ensure my plant based protein is firstly, organic, and then secondly, tastes delicious when whizzed up with some of my most-loved adaptogens ands whole food favourites!

Sunwarrior has been one of my staple pantry products for years. Since I steer clear of dairy, for digestive and hormonal imbalance reasons, the protein powder I use has to be plant based and able to support my active body's needs. This salted caramel smoothie, answers all of my mouth-watering desires. Using the fibrous, nourishing benefits of Medjool Dates for the rich caramel flavour, frozen banana with Sunwarrior Vanilla Plant-Based Protein for the creamy base, Maca Powder for its nutty taste and hormonally balancing benefits (it's great for those with PCOS) and of course, Pink Himalayan Salt for the satisfying palette finisher, this combination is all kinds of goodness!

Need It

1 scoop Sunwarrior Classic Plus Organic Plant Based Protein - Vanilla

300-400ml non-dairy milk – I like Nutty Bruce

2x pitted Medjool Dates

1x Frozen Banana

1/2 Tbsp Organic Maca Powder 

A good shake of Pink Himalayan Salt

Mix It

Throw all ingredients together into a NutriBullet and whizz until fully combined. 

Depending on your choice of consistency, you may fancy adding a little more nut milk for a tall smoothie, or keep it thick for a yummy smoothie bowl option!
